UNREAL 77 - Reese's Cup

As you already know if you have read my past posts, I am reviewing UNREAL candy for one of my current Bzz Campaigns.

UNREAL has 5 different candies, all with NO Corn syrup, NO Partially hydrogenated oils,  NO GMOs, NO Artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives, and have reduced sugar by over 40% per serving on average.  Sounds great right?  But like always there's that concern... is it going to taste right?

UNREAL 77 is the first in the line of UNREAL candies I am trying.  77 is a Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup... basically, its UNREAL's version of a Reese's Cup.  I have always loved Reese's cups, so 77 has a lot to live up to.

Before I tell you what I thought of 77, I want to share a little bit of the facts with you. Show you what is in the UNREAL 77 and the facts of 77 vs Reese's.

11g of sugar vs. 21g?! That is a huge difference.  Not to mention lower fat, lower calories, lower carbs, and higher fiber!  Now yes, I do realize that the size is slightly different, 36g vs 42g, but honestly, if I hadn't read that on the UNREAL site, I never would have known.  The UNREAL 77 don't seem smaller than the Reese's Cups at all.

When I tried the UNREAL 77, I shared them with my mom.  Aww, how nice of me I know. She's an even bigger Reese's Cup fan than I am.  The UNREAL 77 was good, but it wasn't a Reese's cup.  With 77 you can tell that there is much less sugar (which, yes, is a good thing) It also had a slightly grainy texture to it, I don't know if this is how it normally is, or maybe I got one that had been sitting around maybe a little too long.  I would still be willing to buy the UNREAL 77, I would give it a 3 out of 5.  But it's no replacement if you're craving a Reese's Cup.

Next up for review will be UNREAL 8 - Snickers.  After that I will have 3 more UNREAL candies to review. I also have two other Bzz Campaigns going on currently, so expect more posts soon :)

UNREAL Candy - First Impressions

I recently got invited to the new Bzz Campaign for UNREAL candy.  I had never heard of UNREAL before.  I was excited to try it out, I mean, who doesn't want a healthier candy?   I don't eat candy very often, but when I do, I would love to have a slightly healthier option.

"Corn syrup?  Out.  Partially hydrogenated oils?  Out.  GMOs?  Out.  Artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives?  Out. Reduced sugar by over 40% per serving on average?  Check. They also decided key ingredients needed to be responsibly sourced, supporting farming communities and preventing destruction of the rain forests. All ingredients needed to be non GMO.  Dairy needed to come from pasture raised cows with no antibiotics or added hormones.  Why?  Because it’s the right thing to do for people and the planet."

That was taken from the UNREAL website.  When I first checked it out, I was skeptical.  Usually candy that makes those kind of claims doesn't have the taste that most people expect from their candy.

I ended up buying some of the UNREAL candy before I even got my BzzKit.  I was with my boyfriend and I went to Walgreens, they had them there and I bought a couple for us to try. I bought the UNREAL 41 (M&Ms) and UNREAL 8 (Snickers)  We split both and we both loved them.  I will post more extensive reviews of each of the 5 candies later on.

I received my Bzzkit just the other day, it had a coupon for me to get a free UNREAL candy for myself and a bunch of BOGO coupons to share with friends.  I went to CVS and picked up one of each of the candies, and they had them on sale for $0.69 each!! If you're in the mood for some candy, or just at CVS I would recommend picking some up and trying them!

Reviews of each candy are coming soon! :-)

Current Bzz Campaigns Update

I know, I know, I suck at starting this blog.  I started it with my first two posts, and then I just up and disappeared.  I had too much chaos going on at the time.  Now things are settled down, I have some time for me, and I'm getting myself organized.

So this post is just a simple update of my bzzagent status.  What I've done, what I'm currently doing, etc.

I already posted about my first Bzz Campaign.  The Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Insoles.  The second campaign I was invited to was Bic Soleil Savvy razors.  I have already completed this campaign also, and I will be posting about it soon.

After my Dr Scholl's and Bic Campaigns ended I got invited to THREE!! more campaigns in like a week and a half!  I was amazed!   My Bzz score is now a 10/10! Go me!  haha.

So what campaign reviews can you expect in my future?

UNREAL unjunked candy

I have already recieved my bzzkits for UNREAL and Dentyne. I should be getting my Glade kit soon I hope.

I will post soon about all of these awesome products! :)

Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Insoles

The Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Insoles were the first campaign I was invited to after I join BzzAgent.  I joined in the end of April 2012 and I was invited to the Dr. Scholl's campaign in the end of May 2012.

I have been a fan of Dr. Scholl's for a long time, so I was thrilled to get to be in this campaign.  I have had issues with my feet for several years.  I broke my leg (really bad... like 6 months not walking) in my freshman year of H.S. and ever since then, I have a hard time on my feet for extended periods of time.

When I received my BzzKit, I was psyched.  It had a pair of Dr. Scholl's Massaging Gel Insoles, a packet of $5 off coupons for any Dr. Scholl's inserts, and the BzzGuide with all the information about the product.  (I don't have a photo of it because my laptop just died and its trapped on my hard drive) My packet of coupons looked like someone had accidentally sliced it with a box cutter.  I sent an e-mail to BzzAgent, just to let them know, the coupons were completely useable still.  They sent me a brand new pack of coupons also!  I think in the end I had 15-20 coupons for $5 off!!!

Inserts in my work shoes.
I, of course, threw the inserts in my shoes practically before I even got the package open. lol.  I wore them in  every day, switching them back and forth between my work shoes and my every day shoes.  I ended up buying another pair eventually because swapping them was getting old.

I can't even begin to explain how much I love these things.  They helped me so much.  Before I put the inserts in my shoes, I would leave work with very sore feet and would want nothing more than to just get those shoes off.  Once I put the inserts in, things changed drastically.   The first day I left work and I didn't even think about it.  I then realized my feet didn't hurt. I didn't kick off my shoes the second I got into the car.  It was a huge change.

I used the inserts in all my shoes ever since I started the campaign.  I will definitely continue to buy them and I am recommending them to anyone who has pain from being on their feet.
